Has your baby said their first word knowing what they meant by saying it yet?

My babygirl is 8 months and 3 days and she mostly says babababa wont say mama or dada yet and im just wondering you june baby knows anywords yet😊

My babyboy is 7 months he says dada and if you talk to him he says dada dada back as like that's his way of talking. He says mama too but it's funny he says it when he's crying and wants to be picked up and literally looks at me. It's adorable even if he doesn't know what it means but it seems like he does know

My daughter says mama and 100% knows that it will get my attention. She only uses it when she needs or wants something.....she does say dada too but we are not sure if she knows that is her dad yet.

My lo said clap!! And said it while clapping. First word that she said and put an action to it. She says the normal mama, dada but I dk if she knows what that means yet. I wish we could upload videos! I got it on video the first time!

I've tried teaching her because she knows her name so I point at her and say Peyton then point to me and say mama. So I'm not sure if she has a clue or not

She does say baba and has dada a couple of times, but it tends to be mama mama mama all the time
