how far along are you when they check your cervix for dilation? FTM

35-36 weeks!

Mine started at 36 weeks, you can choose not too. My first I let them check me at 36, 39, and 40, at 41 I just got sent to the hospital because my high blood pressure so they didn't check me. I never made progress and it was extremely disappointing, and discouraging.

I asked mine not to check until 40 weeks. They would start at 36 if I wanted them to. I don't Bc it would make me excited if I were progressing and a lot of FTM (like myself) can stay dialated at a 3 for a month or more before labor begins.

My care center doesn't check unless you want them to. It's not really necessary. I probably will have them check at 38-39 weeks out of curiosity but other than that they can stay out of my lady bits lol

I've been check at 26 weeks and then again last week due to being 50% effaced.
