NIPT test results

Has anyone who had the NIPT genetic testing done had the lab send the results to your doctor and then your doctor mails them to you? Like snail mail. I think this is so ridiculous. Why wouldn't your doctor just call you with the results and/or upload them to the patient portal? It's so frustrating when you are awaiting the results already and now you have to wait for them to be sent in this round about way. Just wondering how everyone else received their NIPT (Harmony) results?
