hello so my newborn baby girl got her screening done on Wednesday and today(Friday) I got a call from children's hospital saying that her samples came back positive for a amino acid disorder / something to do with her metabolism and I'm absolutely completely freaking out. did any other Momma's go through this? I have to wait 3 days to bring her to children's to do more testing and I'm stressed right out and feel like it's going to be impossible to wait that long never mind waiting even longer for the test results. the whole 2 days I was in the hospital they said my daughter was perfectly fine and then I get a surprise phone call today stating this... HELP I don't know how to cope and they said there's a chance it could be a false positive which I'm praying it is. please pray for me and my daughter. first time mom and heartbroken.. clearly I'll still love my daughter no matter what I just feel like I failed her by not creating her to being 100% healthy and I don't want her to hate me for her having a condition if it does come back positive.. don't know how to deal with this.. I just hope it's negative and she will be alright...
