Pain during sex?

I have the Mirena IUD and I've had it for over a year now. I don't know if this is related to the IUD or not, but whenever I have sex with my boyfriend and he hits my cervix, it hurts. It's not a constant thing and only happens every few months when my cervix is low!

Does deep sex hurt for anyone else sometimes?

It happens to me too! Makes me wonder if it's positioned in there correctly... I agree that the more turned on I am the less it happens so I imagine the cervix is just too short to handle the two at once.

Make sure you're "ready" to have sex, such as your wet enough or relaxed. The vagina actually expands and lengthens during sexual arousal, so make sure it's not too soon, it happens to me sometimes where I'll hit my cervix but other times I won't when I'm really horny.
