Will it be sexist if I don't want a guy babysitter?

I'm just not comfortable, for many private reasons. It's not that I don't trust males, I just don't trust many with my children.

If the male in question is qualified for the job but you don't hire him just because he's a guy, then yes, I think it's sexist. But, I don't see anything wrong with that. You have a right to pick how and by who your kids are cared for. I most likely would not leave my kids alone with a male sitter either.
