Do you/ do you plan to breast feed in front of your toddler? My daughter (adopted) will be 5 when our LO is born. I just dont want her to be scarred for life or if its just whatever.

My son is 6 and he knows I breastfed him and he is well aware I will also breastfeed his baby brother or sister. He doesn't think it's weird or gross. When he was 4 he saw a lady breastfeeding at the mall and asked me what she was doing. I explained it to him and now when he sees a woman breastfeeding he either tells me that mom is feeding her baby or he doesn't even think anything of it. Just teach them and they won't even question it!:)

I would ease her into it. Maybe find a book to read to her before baby gets here. 
My son is 2 but I always tell him "boobies are for babies" and I hope that when the new baby gets here it will make sense. He's a curious boy so he will probably want to be right up in the middle and see what's going on.

I had my daughter 9 months ago right before my son turned 4 and I always breastfed in front of him and he never even payed it any attention for a long time until one day he sat down beside me and just asked me simple questions about it. I answered them and now he is aware that it's natural , it's just how babies eat. No big deal to him.

I don't have a toddler, but my mom breastfed in front of me when I was little (I was 5 when my brother was born). There is nothing scarring about it! You're feeding your baby in a natural way and normalizing breastfeeding for that child. She may have questions and some may make you uncomfortable, but that's not a bad thing!

I dont think she will be scarred for life. The purposed of boobs are to feed a baby. They are not sexual objects. They are not gross. Teach her that. 
I will be breastfeeding infront of my son who will be 3 when baby comes. I will be teaching him what boobs are for and why. The earlier they learn the more understand and accepting they will be when they are older.
There is nothing wrong or disgusting about breastfeeding.

My sister nurses in front of both her older kids (5 and 6) as well as my daughter (11) and nephew (3), and none of them even notice anymore. At first her two asked what she was doing and why, she told them she was feeding the baby and they were pretty much like ok, that's boring lol. We've never made it a big deal, so they don't think it is one either.

I'll absolutely breastfeed in front of my son (5yo). I'm all for normalizing breastfeeding, and there's nothing more humbling to a body-shamer than a 5 year old being perfectly normal around his breastfeeding mom.
