DO I STILL HAVE A CHANCE?

Question

I am 37 going on 38 and have been trying to conceive for 1 year now.  I am also worried because my pressure is not too good and I'm overweight. Plus I am terrified that I may develop cancer because of some studies that show that after 35 pregnancy cancer is very likely.  Please help

I'm not sure about the cancer thing is, my SIL is an oncologist at a teaching hospital so they're always doing cutting edge research and such and she's 36 and just had my two nieces two years apart, my other SIL waited until her mid 30s and had two kids a year apart, and my mom had me when she was 40 and none of them have ever had cancer.

My mom had my little sister (her 4th child) at age 42! Completely healthy kid & the smartest of us all! She turns 13 this year. The only issue my mom had was high blood pressure & needing to be on bed rest towards the end of her pregnancy, but she had high blood pressure even before she got pregnant with my sister. It runs in the family.

So, to answer your question.... There's always a chance! Have faith! Hope you're blessed with a baby soon ♡
