Did you marry/date your father?

Of course I don't mean literally, but did you marry a man that had similar characteristics as your father?  Do you resemble your SO's mom?

I'm definitely dating someone that's like my dad, and he says I act like his mom.

I really don't like my dad cause he's a jerk and on drugs but I think I have dated losers who I guess are similar!! 😐 not fun to think about.

Me and my SO's mom have so much in common, we're almost like the same person. Which is great cause we get along great but we also bump heads cause we're both strong minded. He can't stand when we get together lol he says we come together and form one super bitch 😂

My husband has a lot of qualities that my dad has. There are things that I knew my husband needed because my dad set such a great example on how a husband treats a wife, so that's what I was looking for. I don't think I'm like my mother in law at all tho.

I swear to god he is half my mom and half my dad, I can find characteristics from both my parents in him.

I'm nothing like his mom. But my husband and my dad are so much the same person it's scary 😂. They both weld and work on cars. They don't have a serious bone in their body.  They both have huge hearts and are amazing people. And I wouldn't have it any other way. My dad was the best dad growing up and I know my husband will be a great dad!

Apparently the reason his mom and I butt heads is because we both are bull headed and stubborn and like to be independent. Except she's more outspken I'm quiet. It definitely bugs her haha she thinks if she keeps trying I'll cave on something, or gives me the silent treatment thinking  I'll come crawling back..but I don't because I like quiet alone time 😂 so if someone's not talking to me perfect haha

Lol, he's like my pawpaw! And his dad married a woman like me a couple of years aftervwe were married. (His mother his a horrible monster if a person he loves her but doesn't like her)

I don't even know my dad so I can't compare the two. However he tells me all the time he married his mother. Our mannerisms, especially when scolding him, are identical. It's pretty funny actually. She's an awesome woman so I'm honored to be compared to her.
