Here in Detroit there is a large Mexican population close to the boarder to Canada ironically. They have been setting up check points randomly and people have been posting the locations on social media to warn people ✊🏾

If given the option, many will choose to protect and defend the people in power rather than those who can be taken advantage of. That's what I think is wrong with society. We give protection to those who don't need it and turn our noses up at others who could really use the help.

My ex used to get pulled over for road checks. They'd demand his papers, and be totally baffled that he only had a driver's license, and was an American born Chinese guy. Apparently that wasn't what they were expecting.

I know these things happen,  I guess I'm really fortunate as to where I live,  but none of my family has ever been harassed by the police.  .. ever.  . I see this stuff all the time and it boggles my mind. ! I'm from Massachusetts and it's just never happened here to me or mine personally.  ! Scary!
