strange discharge

Sorry to be very graphic but my discharge looks like and has the consistency of katchup ... it smells like a dead animal too i know there is an infection of some sort on my iud. I just got it 2 weeks ago and have had issues I have a doc apt Monday and my bf and I have both been tested and are clean. I need some advice on what to do to get me through til Monday . Lots of swelling (mostly my cervix) and pain . Swelling of vagina too. Anyone have expirence with this? Any help would be appreciated.
