what to do?!!

My bfs favorite band is older and performing near where I live. We are long distance and he just saw them by him. They are 3.5 hours from me so we would need a hotel +tickets which are expensive and gas money. To him this is a once in a lifetime thing even tho he already went. I feel bad ruining it and saying how crazy the money is to spend especially when he saw him. We go to school and he works and I don't. Plus to go he would need a plane ticket. Ugh what to do. Hate to ruin his plan but want to be realistic
