talking about sex to your friends

So I have a new friend who is saying my boyfriend's closest guy friend. She's super sweet and we are really similar and have already bonded over a lot of stuff but I'm dying to talk about my sex life with her and hear about hers! Is anyone else like this? None of my other girl friends are in a relationship so I can't talk to them about it. Part of having amazing sex is being able to talk to someone about it!!! Am I right? I just don't know how to bring it up subtlety. I don't want to freak  her out  in case she's really uptight or they don't have sex or something.
