Random Sharp Pains

Hey all. My insurance hasn't kicked in yet for me to see a doc, so I come to you all for thoughts :) I am now just two days before AF. Around ovulation, I started getting these really sharp pains in my lower abdomen, on both sides. They don't last long, and they vary in intensity. It's been off and on since then, like a handful of times a day. Some of them are quite painful! Any thoughts what it could be? PCOS? pregnancy? Kidney stones? I have no idea, and I don't like it! Thanks!
