There are a numbers of reasons that could've caused blood in baby's stool.

Here are a few:

Baby was straining 
If you breastfeed and have cracked nipples you might have had some blood and baby might of swallowed some. Or it can be Cows milk protein allergy from the formula/ breast milk.

These are just a few things I found that cause it. Best to check in with the pediatrician.

My son had that but that's because he had constipation and had a few tiny drops when he tried to pass a particularly solid bit of poop... but as for your picture it could possibly mean an allergy of some kind as your poop isn't solid...

I would say a milk allergy. You can bring soiled diapers into the pediatrician and they can test for blood to confirm. This happened to my daughter when she was a baby. She was put on nutramigen formula and did great.

Sounds me to like your little one may be allergic to something your eating. If the pediatrician wants you to come in they will likely test for an milk protein allergy. Simple stool test.
