membrane sweep

38+4 days. i've had a healthy pregnancy and baby's heartbeat is always strong and healthy. i'm so over being pregnant with the swelling and walking every night and nothing's happening. doctor wants to do a membrane sweep at 39 weeks and i'm TOTALLY down anyone have any pointers like pain wise and how quick did it work or did it work at all. FTM here and very curious as to what to expect. 🙈
