I feel like I don't have a boyfriend
I'm in a LDR and my partner is always so busy. Its come to that point where I'm so used to it that it doesn't bother me...but I think it bothers him
He's a lawyer.
We last talked on Sunday and he had asked why it took me two days to message him. But when I do message him, he leaves me on "read". When I call, he doesn't pick up but he explains via text why he had not picked up my call (he texts the following morning). I'm getting used to it now and although I'm understanding of his schedules, I wish he would take at least 5mins to message/talk to me. Sometimes I even forget that I have a boyfriend (that's how busy he is) *sighs*
Even now as I'm typing this, I can't believe I have a boyfriend but I don't feel like I even have one.
I'm not surprised he hasn't messaged me fo 2 days now. Last time he didn't contact me until I initiated it (this took 5 days).
Is it my fault that I'm not giving him attention? Keep in mind that I never contact him during my period (4 days) and I always let him know before it happens but if he goes days without talking to me. I just assume his busy and he doesn't have time to talk so I just let it be...
I'm also an independent person. Is it my fault that I'm so used to this now that I'm starting not to care anymore
What should I do?
Should I put more effort in?
Is he playing hard to get or is he just busy in general?
