9 month old night bottle weaning help! plzzzz
9 month old LO can't fall asleep without bottle. He doesn't know how to self soothe. Needs the bottle to fall back asleep and he wakes multiple times a night. I made the mistake of buying a bassinet when he was born. Although I tried as much as I could to make him sleep in there and he was getting pretty good we ended up moving (which totally threw him off) and he grew out of it and since then he's been co sleeping and I have a crib but I still need to make it (planning to do it tomorrow!!!). We don't really have a consistent bedtime (anytime between 10 and 11:30 bc dad worked late but I may be able to change that now since dad doesn't work late anymore) or routine for that matter and I guess being a ftm I've learned my lesson on so many things 😖just a bit late tho. I'm paying the price now. Does anyone have any advice about how to teach him to self soothe? I've heard the advice about reducing formula gradually over a few days but I'm kinda worried that's not gonna work. I'm not really sure I can do cry it out btw. Plz share your experience or advice! I don't want him to get cavities and I want both of us to STTN! 😭
-Mama who hasn't STTN for 9 months 😖
