Diabetes???

Question

Did anyone find out they have diabetes and were pregnant around the same time. Resulting in a high A1c in the first trimester. I'm kind of worried that I will miscarry or develop defects in my baby. Any positive stories??

I'm a diabetic have been for the past 15 years. I have a healthy 7 year old daughter & am currently pregnant with baby #2 . When I conceived my daughter my a1c was extremely high almost 12 😞 but had no complications thank god. So far everything is looking good with baby #2 also . Just try your best to get good control of your sugars now by diet & exercise .

My second child and I have diabetes, I was just like you scared that my baby will develop birth defects. But getting on a strict diet and watching what I eat is helping me in a long way watching my carbs is more easier I cried the first week because it was hard for me since I was use to eating what I wanted, when I wanted, don't get me wrong I still want food I can't have but I have to control it. I've lost 14 lbs and my baby is growing heathly and strong. I recommend the accu check glucos machine! Fosa glucose machine I dislike always giving me high numbers. Just follow the diet and you both will be fine! I stay positive with my diet I'll post pictures later of what yogurt I have and what protein bar you could eat and they're good!

I've had numerous friends have healthy babies with diabetes. As long as you exercise, watch your weight, and eat what you need to be eating you'll be fine

I'm just worried because I've had four miscarriages so far and they think it's because my glucose was high. That is why I'm so worried.... I already have a machine though and I've gotten my glucose from 300 resting to 166 resting glucose this morning in one week just by diet. I don't need to lose any weight or anything thought...
