I had ankle surgery last Wednesday, and I hope I am never on this pain medicine ever again. It keeps me up at night, but makes me exhausted during the day. I haven't gone to the bathroom since last Tuesday. I took a stool softener hoping it would help. Well I've been on the toilet for over an hour. I have to go, and I know it's there, but for the love of everything, it won't come out. I've never had constipation this horrible, and I hope I never will again. This is ridiculous.
