placenta abruption or tear has anyone had it?

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor last week because I felt like I was having contractions. Just really horrible pain. I had an ultrasound and found that my placenta is tearing away from my uterus. They found a lot of blood and told me if i kept bleeding I could go into shock.  They put me as "threatening miscarriage" and put me on strict bed rest for 7 days and light duty for 3 weeks. They're hoping it will heal and I won't lose my baby. I want to know if anyone has had this though and if their pregnancy survived??
