What were some of the symptoms you experienced during postpartum depression

I was so SO angry all of the time. I didn't bond with the baby. I resented my husbands existence. It was rough. I would say such mean and nasty things and as they were coming out of my mouth I was shocked and knew it wasn't ME but I couldn't stop myself.

15 days PP and my husband and daughters pediatrician are worried that this might become a problem for me but im not sure. I think its mostly hormones and missing being pregnant that i cry a lot. I love my little girl more than anything but having hardly any sleep and learning how to be a SAHM while husband works all day has been hard.

Definitely talk to your doctor. Seek help. With my first baby. I had it and thought "I couldn't do this" and it was kinda scary that I had that thought that I was going to kill myself because I couldn't handle a crying baby and I was all to myself.  Now with number 2. I am more experienced and when baby cries. I smile and so happy. Baby #2 is so much easier since I know more. After 2 months it went away.

My mother in law asked me did I feel like I had it.. it never really crossed my mind. I asked her how would you know.. she said she cried ALL of the time & felt like she couldn't do it. 
I cry ALL of the time but just thought it was because of hormones. & even though my husband helps a lot I feel like I'm on my own with it.. but I thought that was just because I'm tired & don't get a lot of sleep..
