Latching issue???

My LO is 11 days old and I'm trying to EBF, but when she latches on it's extremely painful. The pain usually subsides within a few seconds and she's feeding good. This is my third pregnancy but my other two are 15 and 13. I tried breastfeeding them but didn't make it long. 3 weeks with the first because he would clamp his jaws on my nipple repeatedly during a feeding and about 2 months with the second because she wasn't getting satisfied off breast milk alone. I really want to make it to at least 6 months with this one but my nipples are so sore. I feed her til I'm too sore then pump for a while so I can heal up a bit. We've tried different nursing positions and been working on her latch, I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Please help.
