How soon did you want to talk about your pregnancy?

I'm 3w6d and I don't want to talk about it yet. I'm so worried that something will go wrong that I don't want to spread it around and talk about it with everyone. Everyone wants to talk names, clothes, gender, etc. and I'm just not ready yet. I want to wait until I'm farther along.

The second my test came back positive I couldn't hold in my joy.  I literally was bursting at the seams and essentially yelled it from the rooftops! I'm so bad at keeping any kind of great news to myself , especially if it's my news . My husband is the same way.  Last pregnancy  (our son) he told our girls before I had a chance to open my mouth.. the excitement was tangible.  Whatever your comfort level is. Some people say wait.  Some tell the world and some tell immediate family.

By 12 weeks pretty much everybody knew so from then on. 31w1d and awaiting baby girl! Although I haven't started buying things yet, baby shower in 2 weeks so I'll start after that

With my first I told my mom and dad like a week after finding our cus I was so excited lol and then we told everyone else pretty early at like 9 weeks.
This time around I didn't tell everyone until 20 weeks and we knew the gender. Just all in one go cus I wasn't showing anyway lol

I am 4w5d and the only people that know are me and my husband. We are waiting until 12 weeks to tell everyone but I am losing my mind! All I want to do is talk about it and I can't!

That early along I told my husband, mother, sister in law, and best friend. Obviously all people I wouldn't mind knowing and would have needed if anything wrong were to happen. We did get excited and did a lot of talking. Everyone is different and your comfort level is something you need to consider at this time. I hope everything goes well in your pregnancy. 💙
