Someone in my area posted that because we are a shoot first state, they have no issues with shooting these kids as many are 17/18 and have been doing this repeatedly with no regard to others bc of lack of proof for the police to fully make an arrest on. Obviously that's very extreme, however, people around here are tired of dealing with them as they own multiple cars (too many to place into a garage) that fall into the range of $10k-300k. We've also had many violent crimes around here and these "teens" usually end up being around 6'4 and 250 lb so you can see how this situation isn't exactly going to continue to end up being community service every time because they're "kids playing pranks" and will eventually fall into the territory of shooting fatality as it has in other states. 

In your opinion, what is the best punishment for a minor who eggs a car?
