Are baby walkers illegal in Canada?This girl on my fb has one for her son and I'm pretty sure they're illegal to use by Canadian law. I know know her well enough to say anything but I cringe when I see her son using it. 
Edit: if you saw someone on your fb using one that you didn't know well, would you say something? I've seen her rant on fb before about people needing to mind their own business and everyone's parents differently. I just feel bad because her poor baby is endangered by using one.....

They are illegal to sell in Canada not to use. Common sense is all that's required. It has instructions. Don't use near stairs, fireplace, stove, where baby could reach hazardous items etc...i live on the second floor and my children have used walkers a bit every day once old enough. I supervise properly. Never have i had an issue with 5 children. Pay attention and don't leave baby unattended.
Just like don't leave baby alone in a room with a toddler because baby could be hurt by the toddler, we aren't making toddlers illegal. Common sense people.

The walkers you sit in are illigal in Canada. But if the person lives in a single floor house it's really fine. The only reason they're illiga is because babies have fallen down a lot of stairs and poor parental supervision.

I'm not Canadian, but just as a heads up, people are oddly pro-walker on this app, considering it's 2017. I'm 33yo and my mother said that even when I was a baby plenty of smart people already knew they were death traps that stunted development, so I have no clue where most people are even getting the idea to use them these days. I've never seen one at a friend's house, or even heard a discussion of using them outside of this app.
