Boyfriend out of work 🙄
Y'all, I just need to vent!
My bf works construction, and for those of you who don't know about that field of work, sometimes you can be out of work for quite some time. I am an extremely independent person, so when it comes to him helping out, I appreciate it because well we live together.
When he works, it's great money! But when he doesn't, it's such a drag! It has been the cause for most of our arguments. I tell him to get a better job, one that's consistent but he doesn't listen. He's just settling I think.
He also didn't graduate from high school (some BS he tells me). But I find jobs that don't require a diploma or GED and I tell him to apply, but it seems like he just likes to sit on his ass when he doesn't have work. I fucking hate it! No, I'm not going to break up with him. I just think he's being lazy and needs to get off his ass!
He's been off three days so far, and he doesn't do shit at home! I constantly argue with him about this. And then he reverses it and makes himself the victim. So annoyed with his childishness!!!
I see my best friend and her partner don't make much, but they both work. I see that they can go out and spend a little on each other, and I'm jealous because I can't. I always have to front the rest of his half for the bills and it pisses me off because I never have money to spend for myself. I feel like a fool settling with this...
