How would you feel about this?

My boyfriend drives 25 mins out of his way to always go to get his hair cut at a mens hair cut place where there are only women working there. There are tons of barber shops right by our apartment but he refuses to go anywhere else. I don't say anything about it but it makes me wonder. He gets simple hair cuts, it's not like only a certain person could do it right.  Hell, I could even do his hair.

If it's a place ONLY for men, operated by women, that's definitely sketchy af. The fact that he wants to get a haircut with someone specific is fine, but drive so much I don't think it's worth it

I'm picky about who does my hair. I find someone I like/trust & stick with them! Seems like that's what he did too. You'd be surprised how much someone can screw up even the simplest hair cut. Better to go somewhere you know they'll do a good job than risk having your hair butchered by someone else lol.

don't think it's weird. guys tend to have a certain place where they do his hair just like he likes it. guys are definitely willing to drive that far in my experience. the place my boyfriend goes is bout 20 minutes away and sometimes has a 2hour wait and he'll still go.

Many people are very picky about their hair. When I was a child my dad only ever took me to the closest place to get my hair cut and those bitches fucked up my hair every single time. I started cutting my own hair because they never listened to what I said. They just did whatever the hell THEY wanted to do with my hair. When you finally find a good hair dresser that cuts your hair how you want it - you stick with them.

I went to beauty school and they always told us to be good to our clients and listen to them. Because once they like you, they will follow you to the moon and back. They will drive to the next town over to have you cut their hair. Because you are the only person they trust with it.

It isn't weird AT ALL. In my opinion.

I'm a barber in a shop that only hires women. I have male clients that drive 45 min and will wait up too two hours. Many of them tell me it's because of how gentle I am compared too male barbers. And trust me even the simplest hair cut can be messed up, so when you find someone you like, stick with them. There is nothing shady going on. If you're not sure, just ask him too   take you once.

I think it's sketchy but that's just me. I thought men were always picky over there barbers, but I'm surprised he wants a woman to do it. Not because they may not be good at it, but they usually prefer a man. I just think it's weird.

My fiancé is the same way. Visits a barber shop of only women. He actually only likes it cut by one particular woman, Lisa. She is the first chair. Men's hair is just as important as ours. I think you should respect his choice of where he likes to get it cut and by whom. NOT SKETCHY!!
