I was wondering if woman have baby showers for their 2nd child if their close in age? I've been told you don't, but I don't feel like that's right? Opinions anyone?

I'm one of those people who only think you should have a shower if someone offers to throw it for you. And for people who say 'every child should be celebrated'. I agree, and that's what a 1st birthday is for.

If its a differenr gender, do it! But if theyre the same gender, maybe just have a small familt celebration to honor the baby instead of the full blown shower.

I feel like you don't do it unless there is a HUGE age gap.

If someone offers then yes.. go for it. But I wouldn't expect it. We only do it if it's the opposite sex or has been more than five years since last baby either sex. I feel like the celebration of the baby's life is their first birthday party.

I don't think second baby showers are "right". You get one IMO

I did.   Why not.  If you have friends and family who would come and celebrate why not do it 😊
Especially if different genders

I see people do it all the time. I'm sure people find ok while others thinks it's unnecessary.
