Natural home births, what medical care do you receive after?

Question

A few things I was wondering is
1. What if something goes wrong and you need medical intervention but are too far into labor?
2. If you tear, who stitches you?
3. What if you lose too much blood and there isn't a way to get you more?

I'm thinking about hypnobirthing but not sure if I'd want to do it at home, a birthing center, or a hospital

Midwives actually carry medications to stop hemorrhaging and know techniques to stop it as well. So you should never get to the point that you actually needed a blood transfusion. If for some reason you really need to be transferred but driving yourself is out of the question they will call and ambulance. The midwife will stitch you but only if it is necessary. They carry medicine and needles to numb the area and suture kits. You would only need to see a doctor for stitches if it was really bad but that is extremely rare since midwives know how to support your perineum and prevent tears or at the very least stopping them from getting bad.
