Did you buy anything before your shower?

I'm almost 18 weeks and we found out the gender a few days ago...a little girl! So I'm dying to buy a few things. Is it too soon to buy some things or should we wait until after our shower in a few months? Did any of you buy things before your shower?

Yes bought everything I knew I wanted her to have or things I felt were too expensive for other Ppl to buy.

I bought so many clothes when I found out the gender! I put together the nursery too. I put stuff like diapers, books, play mats, diaper bin etc on my registry.

I didn't buy anything before my shower but a cute set of pajamas that I found on sale lol I was surprised at the amount of stuff I received at my shower and I basically have nothing left to buy now

I've bought a lot of things. I started buying bigger size clothes, like 9 mo/12 mo since you get a lot of smaller sizes at the shower. I've been stocking up on all size diapers & wipes. I've bought a couple bigger items too. But besides that I'm done shopping until my shower.

Yes but I didn't have my shower until I was 36 weeks. I pretty much got everything we needed except clothes and diapers because I knew people would bring a lot of those. Then anything we didn't need that people bought we just exchanged

No girl, go ahead and buy stuff if you find something that's cute! We found out we are having our second girl so I'm not really buying anything since she'll have so many hand me downs. But if it was a boy I'm sure I would have already bought something and I'm only 13.4 weeks. Happy shopping and congrats!
