Can stress induce labor?

I am a special ed teacher and in the next couple weeks before I go on maternity leave I'm trying to get a lot of my work done for the whole year because my sub doesn't have the authority to do a lot of it. As I was working at home last night I was really stressed out and started to have contractions I think because of the stress. I know a lot of special ed teachers who have gone into labor around 36 weeks, maybe it's not just a coincidence haha.
