Question about fertility treatments and the 1 year wait.

My husband and I are a military couple and we've been NTNP for a little over a year now (No tracking bbt, no prenatals or anything. Just unprotected sex.) And we were thinking of starting fertility treatments but, he's about to deploy so it'd be pointless to start now. Whenever he gets home should we start actively trying (bbt, prenatals, etc.) Or start fertility treatments?
