Married in 24 days! Advice?

I'm marrying my best friend in 24 days and while I'm very excited, I'm also a little nervous. We've been together for almost 4 years so I don't imagine our relationship will differ too much from the way it is now, but I'm just curious what changes you all went through when you got married? Any advice on having a happy marriage or even just advice for the wedding day itself would be much appreciated :3

Never go to bed mad at each other I've been married 3 years and it has worked so far work it out even if u have to stay up till 2 am don't go to bed mad

The wedding day is just a day, so take a deep breath and dont let the little things get to you.  Other then that dont expect anything to change, if he isnt picking up his socks before your married dont expect him to pick them up after. Kids change things, alot, marriage really doesnt.

If you live together nothing will change probably.  It didn't for us at least. As for a happy marriage,  pick your battles when it comes to arguments/disagreements. Be romantic buy little gifts periodically for him and communicate!

I'm on my second marriage and I'll tell you what I've learned...
1) always respect your partner. They come before everyone else including family (even you, sometimes!)
2) have sex, even if you're not feeling it at the moment. It keeps you connected and avoids the bad feelings that can build by getting turned down.
3) you're a team.. so sometimes you're the superstar, sometimes you're the hype man, but you need to share the roles. You can't always pick the restaurant or the radio station, get over it.
4) never speak poorly about your spouse to friends or relatives. Period.
5) do not take your spouse for granted. Thank you, please and lots of I appreciate you's keep the vibe happy

Try reading about the 5 love languages too. There are quick tests you can take that will teach you what you each need to be happy. It works!

My husband and I got married after dating for 5 1/2 years. We didn't live with each other prior to marriage, so even though we had been with each other for so long prior to getting married, it was still a huge adjustment. Just when you think you know everything, there's always these little things you've never focused on haha. I always had my own space as far as my own bedroom and my own bathroom, so having a shared space was hard the first year. It caused some crazy fights, but as long as you guys communicate through it all, you'll be good. Our relationship thrives on communication!!!! And as far as I know, so does everyone else's! So communicate about the big, the small, the awkward, the random....whatever. It will save you from this big blow up arguments!

It's suggested that you make a change in your life. Rearrange the furniture. Move. Get a pet. You can do more research. My husband and I moved shortly after our wedding and I think it was what I needed. It's so it doesn't seems like the relationship needs to change. Sometimes that's the problem- the titles are different so the relationship should be different in a lot of people's minds. Waaaay deep down.
