help! cold sores and babies

I kissed my 3 week old baby today - once on the mouth and several times on the cheek - and just looked in the mirror and realized I now have a cold sore. I have no idea if I had it earlier when I kissed her. It's not broken open but I am terrified I may have given it to her. What's the chance she will get it? And what can I do to prevent her from getting it??
