POCS, cyst and possibly having children

Dana

First I know you will all say I should go talk to my obgyn but I'm not getting any information that I want to hear from him. He's just reading me the medical books. Not really what I want,to hear. So basically my so and I and I have been going through this and yesterday he brought up having kids. He kept asking if my cyst would give a child down syndrome, or some other issue or the worst tris 13. I told him no (please don't judge him he is a guy) in the end all he said was he just wanted a baby to come out normal, 10 fingers 10 toes. What didn't make him happy was when I told him they told me I would be high risk due to my cyst, which is what I was told, that if I became cleared to have children we would probably go through several miscarriages and have complications and high risk issues. This really scared him and he ended up crying asking if we did happen to have issues or miscarried multiple times if I would give up. I told no. I guess my question is how many woman have had successful pregnancies after having a cyst and being diagnosed? Mine was the size of a quarter last time I went. I also was wondering how you delt with it or what you had to go through if fertility treatment was an option or where your at now.

Things like this typically do not bother me but him sitting there crying on the couch and brining it up last night really hit home with me.
