Doctor Visits

Hey ladies! I'm 32 weeks will be 33 on Thursday but I was wondering how often you ladies have been seeing your doctor since you entered third trimester? I recently had a visit on the 28th of Feb and they still have me on once a month visits. My next appointment won't be until I'm 36 weeks along. I heard that by 28-32 weeks you should be seen twice a month and after my 36 week appointment they scheduled the next one for 40 weeks. I'm just confused bc although my doctor hasn't marked my pregnancy as high risk, back in December I had a severe kidney infection and was in the hospital for 5 days and was told that I was more at risk for preterm labor and I have been on antibiotics since then. I was just wondering if this is a normal visiting schedule or if I should talk to my doctor about it? I thought that after 36 weeks it became a weekly thing to see your doctor.
