Are there any timid, highly sensitive women over 30 out there?

I feel weird because I am 32 and I am super sensitive and take things too seriously.  I mean I will go home from work and cry if I get yelled at at work.  Any others like me or am I alone??

I am not that sentsitive, but I am "highly sensitive."  I didn't realize this before, but being "highly sensitive" is real. You should look it up. Knowing some truths about myself has been very helpful.  It's not just simply being overly sensitive emotionally, but it involves so many more positive aspects that people may not consider when someone is referred to as a sensitive person.

My sister is that way, she is 28. I would suggest talking with a therapist. Some times you need to talk things out with someone who isn't in your everyday life like a SO/family.

I don't cry, I get angry instead. 
It's hard because it's like a personal attack against you. 
Try not to let it get to you, take a couple of deep breaths and exhale. Calms you right down.
