post period symptoms...kinda freaked out!!😓

So my period ended 3 days ago but I noticed that my skin down there was kind irritated and itchy. I wear pads so I thought that maybe I could have a yeast infection. I have no pain, no discharge, no odor, just itchyness. I've never had a yeast infection so I really don't know what to look out for.  The itchiness has calmed down but it's still there. Should I wait it out or schedule a doctors appointment? Has anyone else experienced this?!!
