Similac?

My daughter is on similac advanced and is having a hard time pooping. She is having normal non hard poops and when she tries to poop she screams in pain and turns bright red. I was wondering if any other moms had this problem and which similac worked for their child. Granted every child is different but I would just like to know which one everyone switched to in this situation. Thank you in advance

Two of my five had to have Similac, because at the time they were the only company with a trustworthy/good soy formula. The last three have been able to have milk-based formula, so we used Enfamil A.R.

My son needs to have a little formula to supplement and we are using Emfamil and it fills him up and other than a little gas...he is good. Just make sure she burps after formula if you try Emfamil :)

Try a different formula. Sometimes it takes awhile to find the right one. My girl is strictly breastfed but that's what I've been told.

My kids always had a hard time digesting similac. The sensitive version led to very frequent, deathly stink bomb farts, but pooping was about the same. Each kid did much better with enfamil.
