what do I do???

So my partner is turning 18 soon and I don't know what to get him!!! He is so hard to buy for cause he never knows what he wants... so what's some ideas for a present? He likes computers more than anything but every game I have gotten for him he doesn't play so I'm not going to spend another $150 (New Zealand Dollars) on a game he isn't going to play. But I'm open to any ideas! Please please please I'm so stuck

Is he i to actual computer things? Like building them and coding and things? If so i got my boyfriend something called raspberyy pi. Its a computer thing that hes built to do things and idk what it is but hes a computer sciences major and he loves it lol

Ok so this is the thing, my boyfriend said its easy to work out and all the questions people could have about it are answered online. Its basically a mini computer. You can play games on it, and theres a lot you can do. It takes a techy-ish person to be able to figure it out. But with all the videos online and tutorials it shouldnt be an issue.
