Cramps since ovulation, period in 4 days.

I have had cramps since I ovulated. I had sex on my peak ovulation day (according to glow), the day after, and two days after that. Since then, I've been cramping on and off. They feel like period cramps. I've had occasional heartburn/indigestion. Here I am about 4 days from the start of my predicted period and the cramps are back in full force. I can't really remember what I experienced so early on with my daughter. Has anyone felt this/gone through this and DIDN'T get their period? I feel crappy like AF is going to show any minute but I've felt like this (but a little less intense) since I ovulated. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
