OPKs & PCOS?

I read the other day that PCOS can cause false positive OPKs... does anyone know if that's true? Do you have PCOS? If so, what's your experience with OPKs? I've been using a cheapo brand. Would Clear Blue Advanced be better for PCOS since it detects LH AND estrogen?

Opks work for me and I have pcos. I always use the dollar store tests

I use opks and i get a two different positives with in each cycle so i usually bbt instead
