What's the perfect age gap between babies?

I'm 33 going on 34 this summer and we have an 11 year old and a 6 month old. We've always said we would have another baby but now hubby wants to try for a baby right after our youngest's first birthday, I'm unsure how crazy hectic it would be with a two year old and a newborn. I really wanted to wait until she would be in school to have another baby but having a baby at 37-38 kinda scares me too. What's the perfect age gap between babies?

I had my first at 35 and I'm waiting til I'm 37 for #2. I have so many friends and relatives including my mom who had babies even at 39 and I'm ok with it. There are a bunch of new studies out that debunk the whole myth of bad things that can happen if you have babies later. The whole "don't have babies after 35" is actually based on one study from France in the 17th century when humans only lived to be like 40. My dr told me this and since that convo I've seen so many things recently that are coming out debunking fallacy.  Sure there are risks as you get older but not as many as we are made to believe. But as to what is best age gap honestly it's what you're comfortable with. Lots of women have babies close together. Personally I know I wouldnt be able to handle it. But, everyone is different.

Mine are 3 years 4 months apart and that feels pretty perfect. She was potty trained, independent enough, could understand that we were having a baby, old enough to be excited about becoming a big sister, big enough to "help". Not very jealous... it worked well.

I just had my first baby in January and I turned 33 in February. If my husband agrees to have another one, I would like to wait until my son is 3 or 4, which would mean I would be 36 or 37. A lot of people in my family had babies in their late 30's. I used to worry about whether or not we would be able to get pregnant since my eggs were "getting old" but it only took less than 3 months of trying to get pregnant with my first.

My 2 are 19 months apart. It's hectic but I love how close they are. I am hoping that I will have a similar age gap for number 3. I will be 36 when I conceive #3.

Had my son when I was 31, he's 2 now, my SO and I have been trying since I've been given the okay to conceive again. Hoping the earth is providing me the age gap between my first and second that is right for us.

My first two were 366 days  apart and I adapted well. When this one comes my littlest will turn 3 the next month. After going through those first few years with the older two, I'm not even sweating what it will be with a newborn and a 3 year old.
