When can my baby do tummy time?

My baby is 3 weeks old her umbilical cord fell off and she seems to hold her head up pretty well when I hold her to burp but idk when I'm able to let her do tummy time. #newmom

You can do tummy time from the moment you bring them home.

I started a week after birth. Tummy time can also be considered if you lay them on your belly chest. I did it that way for the first few weeks then I moved them to the mat in the floor then at 3 months put my boopy breastfeeding pillow to prop him up.

We started the first week. But we are on the floor with him and he has a freakishly strong neck!
