Nanny interview tips?

We're interviewing nannies this week and was wondering if anyone's got advice on things to make sure and ask? We've already asked for references, CPR and first aid certification, and support for tdap vaccine. Anything else? We're also planning to pay for a background check for whoever we like best.

Follow up question: How long would it take you to feel comfortable leaving your kid with them for the day? I'm primarily going to be working from home while the nanny watches my son, but eventually I may want to go in to the office once a week or so. Not sure how long people typically wait. I know people leave their kids with babysitters all the time (I used to be one myself!), but I'm a FTM and I feel weird leaving my son with someone I don't know...

You could ask what they'd do in certain situations. 
The main thing is to get a feel for if you'd get along. You need to be comfortable with the person.

Some advice if y'all are able to do it: put cameras inside the home. Not trying to be negative but no one is trustworthy nowadays. It's sad but true they can have a  great resume, good background but be totally different.

Ask if they have experience, how good with kids. That's good you checking background cause people lie in their name and lifestyle and also ask them questions like what would you do if something happens or misbehaving kids or whatever that's maybe they will express their mind and personality to see how really act.
