Husbands cousin judging me me for posting pictures of my kids on social media.

Today I had a conversation with a couple of members of my husbands family and the conversation gradually turned into a judgemental lecture. They said that I'm crazy for posting pictures of my two kids on social media (even though the only people I have on there are family and close friends and my account is fully private). They told me that I should be more like my husbands cousin who mails out pictures of her kid every month to family members with his milestone updates etc. 😒 They got under my skin so much that I deleted my social media because they really made me feel like a terrible parent for wanting to post pictures on there and not mail updates to all my family once a month. The only reason I had social media was to keep my family in another country updated on my kids because my immediate family have yet to meet them (they're 1 and 6 months) and now I've closed social media I feel like they'll be deprived of seeing them unless I pay like $70 a month to mail pictures internationally so they can see them monthly. Skype doesn't happen often due to time difference etc. This is more of a rant than anything. I feel so drained and judged by people who are supposed to be my family now too.  What do you ladies think?
