Question about spit up/vomit?? no pics lol

My daughter is 2 months and is on a nondairy formula (nutramigen). She has reflux and we have to give her 2 doses of Zantac a day. She still vomits quite often and it's almost always chunky- like cottage cheese? It mostly happens immediately or during a feeding- so I assume it can't be curdling with acid (it wouldn't have time, right?). It's a concentrate formula so it isn't like powder clumps or anything like that.

Any idea of what this could be??

Both my daughters had acid reflux and my first would literally spit up half if not more than her bottles after a feeding. It was awful and could not bring her anywhere. I wouldn't worry about the texture...sounds pretty normal to me. I'm sorry you and your baby are going through this. Hang in there and hope she grows out of it soon.

My daughter is reflux and is on Zantac and a PPI. She drinks elecare mixed with breast milk and spits up like that to, usually it just means the food made it farther into the stomach rather than coming up right after they ate it.

Try Enfamil AR. Reflux babies spit up curdled looking milk sometimes. It is partly due to the acid. The AR will stay down longer giving it time to digest. My eldest had projectile vomiting and my youngest has silent reflux. Meds didn't help them only time and the AR.
