hungry baby?!

Is anyone else's 1 month old seem
More hungry at night? He drinks 2-3 oz at feedings during day but at night before bed wants like 4-5? Just wondering if this is s thing for others

My son eats 4oz every 2-3 hours during the day and right before bed (he sleeps 5-6 hours through the night normally) so when he wakes up he eats 5oz.

My son is three weeks old and we just gave him a 3 ounce bottle he ate that and screamed for more so then I gave him the boob and eight for another 20 minutes and every time I unlatch him he screams bloody murder! I do not see how he can still be hungry

Doesn't it depend on how much they weigh? My 3 week old daughter drinks 2 ounces each feeding, but she only weighs 5lbs 10oz. I read it's 2.5 ounces per pound per day, so if your baby weighs 10lbs, they'd get 25 ounces per 24 hours.

My son drinks 6/7oz every 4 hours. Good thing I pump a 55/65oz a day!😂

This happens to me as well, I think they do it to 'stock up' for nighttime. My daughter has what I call a 'witching hour'- which is actually about 4 hours (!!) of cluster feeding and fussiness from around 5-9pm and then sleeps pretty well overnight, only waking twice most of the time.

Same here my baby drinks 4 oz sometimes during the day she just turned a month yesterday. Pediatrician said to feed when they show sings of being hungry as they won't over eat.
