Buying a Vibrator

Recently, I have really been wanting to purchase a vibrator, but am not sure where to order it from. Originally, I was going to order from Amazon as the packaging is descrete and they won't send adds later (I live in a dorm, where peers sort my mail). The only problem is, that there aren't many options that have many good reviews. While looking at Adam and eve, I found two that I really liked. However, I have read so many horror stories about this company. For example, after you make your purchase, they continue to send ads and magazines. Also, I have read that a lot of people receive used toys that have lube and fingerprints all over them. I got a really good deal there, but am nervous to order from them. Has anyone had any problems with this company?
